Downtown Schedule Changes

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a schedule change. I talked to John (Downtown Athletic Club) this weekend, and he wanted to give the Bootcamp class a try during and Weekday evening time slot. So unfortunately as of June 8th, Turbo Kick is going be replaced with Bootcamp. The 6:00am (Tues, Thurs) Bootcamp class draws 20-30 people, and with attendance for TurboKick hovering around the low teens' he would like to try and get more people in that evening time slot. The new schedule should be up today. If you are in the gym double check the class schedules, because some things probably have shifted around. The changes should be going into affect next week.

It's been a blast, and I'm going to miss my Wednesday Night Downtown Crew. You all have come so far in such a short time, that I feel like I can throw some of the most advanced stuff at you and you pick it up no problem! The good news is, since the majority of the Wed night crowd attends my Saturday class, that class is staying as scheduled. I hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend, and you're well rested for our final Wed Night party.

Speaking Of Comments

I will be updating the comments section so you no longer have to be a blogger member to use it. You should also be able to post anonymously. Once that is up and running, if you have any questions for us; please feel free to use the comment section under the related post. Web Page Template Updates

Just a heads up for the frequent visitors. I am working on updating the format of the page to include some graphics, and it will also be using a new template. So if you visit and it looks completely different have no fear, we are still here. All of the archives (previous posts) will be in tact, but they will just be using a new format. These updates will be occurring in the next couple of weeks, so feel free to post any comments or suggestions.

TK Place to gather

As we will have more visitors to this site checking on some info as well as just browsing, I thought I'd share the TurboKick fanatics link. This is a group where people gather to post anything and everything about TurboKick. Many members, instructors, presenter's, as well as the creator of TurboKick, Chalene Johnson, talk on this yahoo group. Feel free to join and just read the emails. OR join and talk talk talk away jumping in on the topics. This is the location where you can suggest songs that you would like in the next round releases as well.

New Recipe Blog

FYI: I created a new blog for healthy recipes. I will add things as I experiment and find stuff I like. It will include things such as Protein Shake Recipes, Protein Powder uses (besides shakes), plus other basic meals, and snacks. Moving On...18 It Is

Looks like I will be changing gears and shifting back into Round 18 for the next few classes *while I attempt to work on a mix). After listening to it a hand full of times riding to and from work, it looks like it has the energy and intensity everyone loves. Plus, I really enjoy the music on this one. I'm pretty sure there aren't any tracks that I don't like. So buyer beware...18 is back in the House for my Classes. ;-)
